Christmas Draw 2020

2020 has been a very difficult year.  

The Trustees of the DSCT propose a Christmas 2020 Draw to try and bring a smile to some and to add a little Santa magic.

The aim is to provide some assistance and encouragement to cricket clubs with a Youth Section and/or a Women’s Section.

The Draw is very simple – DCB Ltd affiliated cricket clubs with a Youth Section or a Women’s Section (or both) may enter the draw (see below for how to enter).  A club can enter the draw on behalf of its Youth Section or for its Women’s Section or for both: one entry for a Youth Section, one entry for a Women’s Section.

The closing date for entries is 24thDecember 2020.

The Draw will be made shortly thereafter, using a Christmas Stocking from which to extract entries.

“Prizes”:

  • First 20 “entries” drawn will receive £250 for their Youth or Women’s Section

In addition:

  • First 6 “entries” drawn will also receive a DSCT Polo shirt signed by either Heather Knight or Chris Read.  These polo shirts might be used as auction items.

Conditions of Entry:

a.  The club must be based in Devon and affiliated to the DCB Ltd and have either a Youth (colts) or Women’s Section or both.

b.  Entry to the Draw should be made by email to the addresses below and should state Club, Youth or Women’s Section or both.  There should be a nominated Club contact. PLEASE use DSCT DRAW as the email SUBJECT.

c. Once the Draw is made, Gavin Lane will contact the appropriate people in order to arrange delivery, by bank payment, of the £250 and, for the first 6 “names” drawn, where to post the polo shirts.
